  • Package up to $161,698 pa. Package includes salary range ($129,464 pa to $142,665 pa), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
  • Greenacre (3 days office based)

 

About the role:      

The Senior Project Manager (Major Capital Works) and Senior Project Manager (Minor Capital Works) provides management direction for the delivery of key Capital Works projects. The role oversees and ensures the timely delivery of quality major developments, major/medium capital works, and infrastructure within budget to deliver on FRNSW infrastructure and strategic priority commitments. You will provide leadership throughout all phases of capital works beginning with scoping, due diligence support, engagement of consultants and contractors, design, delivery and commissioning/handover of capital projects, ensuring delivery meets operational and legislative requirements and NSW government procurement guidelines.

About you:

  • You have sound knowledge and experience in the building and construction industry, including major capital works programs, contract management, risk profiling, WHS and compliance.
  • Knowledge of relevant statutory requirements in capital/construction management, planning consent laws and policies and WHS.
  • You are a collaborative leader with a proven ability to deliver results. 

Essential Requirements:

  1. Tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent, relevant professional experience.
  2. Demonstrated project coordination skills, including knowledge of procurement, tendering, and contract processes, with experience supporting project teams, consultants, and contractors, while applying environmental, safety, and risk management guidelines.
  3. Project management skills and experience with an understanding of contemporary best practice in procurement, tendering and contract preparation, in managing project teams, consultants and contractors, and in applying environmental safety and risk management policies and systems.
  4. Proven experience developing, implementing, and reviewing strategic plans and policies, with the ability to provide strategic advice to senior management.
  5. Current NSW Class C Drivers Licence and willingness to travel across the state by road and air, including overnight stays, as required to perform the role.
